I started to believe the decade of the 50s and the menopause would make it impossible to keep up my physical standards. I bought the idea that from now on, it was all going downwards and there was no way around it.

I am also very conscious of what I eat, and that allows me to round my well-being, but in order to keep my body in the right motion and moving without pain and stiffness, the combination I will share with you makes absolute wonders.
You don’t have to be an expert, or even a practitioner to do this program. From a total beginner to a more experienced one, you will enjoy every class. There’s an array of classes that go from easy, slow flows, to challenging classes that require strength and stamina. But, it will build up during the weeks and you may feel that the first time it seems uphill but, when you revisit it later, you will already feel how it has become more attainable.
Not all bodies are equal. Our DNA always differs, as well as our bone structure and even the way we deal with life. And that’s what I love about yoga. There is not one single version of a pose, or of a flow. It’s adapted to every body, every anatomical shape. And it’s never a competition. Not even with yourself. One day you may be able to get close to a split. And 3 days later you may be far away from the floor. And that’s totally fine, because you are also a different person in a different day. And nobody (especially yourself!) will judge you for it. You have to learn to park your ego and to be compassionate with yourself. This is, also, a huge part of the journey.

I am living the amazing 50s, enjoying life and ensuring my body is fit for everything I want to do on a daily basis. I have designed yoga practices of about 20 minutes that you can embed in your daily routine. Either first thing in the morning, or at your lunch break or, if you prefer in the evening. They are complemented by some drills that will take you maximum 10 minutes. You can do them together, separately or combine them as you wish. Some days you’ll sweat it out. Others, I will challenge your strength, or your cardio, and we’ll build some energy. Others, we’ll chill and let the body find more space, suppleness and movement.
Rest is crucial to ensure the right growth of what we are aiming for. There will be days where we’ll just stretch, relax, find more space within the body and enjoy some peaceful moments on the mat. We have to find the balance between the yin and the yang, the work on the deep, dense tissues and the yang practices, that will improve your strength and stamina. We will have the right balance so that your body transforms in the right, healthy way.
